It dropped to 20 when Silver Sevens closed its poker room in August 2021. The number of open Las Vegas poker rooms returned to 20 before Mandalay Bay brought it back to 21 on July 22, 2021. However, Planet Hollywood closed its poker room on July 11, 2021. Resorts World opened with a new poker room on June 24, 2021, bringing the total of open Las Vegas poker rooms to 21. There were 31 Las Vegas poker rooms before the closure.
